We had flights on TG a week or so ago PER-BKK-ZCH, and it was listed first on their wine list. Very enjoyable.

Correct, I was in the TG lounge in T1, which is operated by ANZ, and was once the QF lounge.

Oh dear.

Lallier is both better (my subjective opinion) and significantly more expensive (objective fact) than Piper-Heidsieck. The price difference is almost double which goes against the usual narrative here of Qantas being cheap.

If it is Charles Heidsieck that's a different comparison and I would happily entertain arguments from people who prefer the CH (it is one of my favourite NV champagnes).
