Just in case anyone is wishing to catch the airtrain from the city:

Trains through Brisbane CBD suspended

Trains through the Brisbane CBD are suspended due to a problem with the overhead power lines near Fortitude Valley train station.
Until further notice, trains from the southern and western lines (Gold Coast, Beenleigh, Ipswich/Rosewood and Richlands) will terminate at Roma Street. Trains from the north (Sunshine Coast, Caboolture, Shorncliffe, Airport, Doomben and Ferny Grove lines) will terminate at Bowen Hills.
No trains are stopping at either Central or Fortitude Valley stations.
Shuttle buses are replacing outbound services. Queensland Rail staff are on hand to assist customers on to alternative transport.
Customers should consider these bus routes as an alternative:
Central: including the Free City Loop, 199, City Glider, 300, 301, 310, 315. Customers for Fortitude Valley should use stop 20 on Adelaide Street (outside City Hall).
Fortitude Valley: including the 199, 196, 195, 192 and CityGlider. Customers for Brisbane City should use the island stop 216 in Gipps Street (near ChinaTown Mall) for buses to the Brisbane CBD.
Bowen Hills: including the 301, 306, 310, 315, 320, 322, 393.
The website is being updated regularly. Please check back regularly for the latest information.
