Brisbane International Lounge - lounge passes

Anyone know why Brisbane Int Lounge isn't allowing lounge passes to be used at the moment? There is no refurbishment as far as I know.

It’s Qantas so the obvious (and only) reason is cost saving.

“Here’s a benefit”…....that you often can’t actually use.
 
There is allegedly a Brisbane International Lounge refurbishment happening later this year, apparently.
 
I believe they have lost the top floor due to the upgrades and relocation of the screen point, so have reduced capacity.
 
Was in the QF lounge for my CI flight last week and they had the 3 lounges open and all were chock-a-block. Was told the ground level lounge would close at 11.00am and the top level closed up at about the same time once it quietened down a bit
