Brisbane extraordinary drinks night Wed 5 October (incl. Trivia!)

(assuming they don't cancel Trivia at the Mill due to poor attendance ... lol ).

At the last Brisbane drinks night, http://www.australianfrequentflyer....isbane-drinks-night-wednesday-21-a-32387.html the assembled AFF team absolutely owned the Trivia contest. We won first prize (although ... by the end, we were the only competitors), and had the choice between a wine "worth $50" (lol - didn't note the name, but suggest retail is probably about $12) or a $50 bar voucher ... You can tell which one was chosen. If we had two separate teams we probably would have won the bar tab - and the bottle of wine!

That voucher expires 1 November, and seeing the regular Oct drinks night has been relocated to the Virgin Lounge, an extraordinary drinks night is required to use the voucher.

Time: Onwards from 5:30pm.

Yep planning on attending that. Went past yesterday and they were loading beer into the place. Looks like they are expecting a crowd.

Put me as a maybe, nothing on at work that day, but I feel a trip to SYD coming up and it may be that day...

If I can attend, it won't be for long, so happy to pay for my 2 drinks! Would love to stay there for the Trivia but two young children to bathe, feed and get to bed await...plus a very understanding wife

I'm doubtful so far - currently under enough pressure from PhD (online haunts on AFF keeping me sane, plus the thought of upcoming travel).

Mark me down as not attending, but I may just turn up on the night if I can make time for it.

I was scolded for not putting in an apology for the last drinks. So I shall do it now, though I'm sure I wasn't and won't be missed.

I will be returning from Auckland on Wed 5th landing at about 6:00 pm flying Air NZ for first time.

Sun 2 Oct - fly to Auckland
Mon 3 Oct - play golf at Gulf Harbour.
Tue 4 Oct - play golf at Formosa GC.
Wed 5 Oct - return to Brisbane.
