Everyone is welcome....

I’ll arrive at BNE on QF626 at about 17:15, so should be there not long after, but probably later than I usually am, and possibly with baggage :p

I don’t think trippin_the_rift will make it as I think he’ll be in BCN.

Edit: Oh and I guess I’ll be driving, that certainly cheapens my night and decides what I can drink :p

Great to meet the group last night!

I'll be along for the Feb drinks, also perhaps a little later than 5:30, but hopefully able to stay longer this time.

See how I go this time around, hopefully would be good to come to this.

It was a pleasure to meet everyone last night and i got well and truly wet getting to the car afterwards.

I will be there on the 16th. I will just be able to sneak this one in as i am off to Hong Kong and Beijing the next day, so probably won't stay too late.

Great to see some new faces last night.

I'll be having sweedish beers next month in BCN, however I'll be back for the March drinks

My how time flies. Only a week to go.

What is sweedish beer? Did you mean Swedish? ;) And why would you be having Swedish beers in Spain? What is wrong with Spanish beer?

P.S sorry for asking too many questions....

You're right about me being a possible. On unlimited overtime at the moment.

I owe a jug of beer at the next one I attend.

A change in schedule at home means that I'm unable to attend this evening. Looking forward to the March drinks now.

Didn't realise I hadn't replied to this thread, yes I will be there.

Today is Johnks birthday; pretty sure I have that correct so I hope you have a good day at work.

You won't supposed to advertise that one Bundy Bear! :(

Anyway for anyone that is interested I turn 2F today. ;)

Enjoy the night.

Happy Birthday JohnK .

Hope to see you all next month.

Happy Birthday, there’s a birthday thread somewhere though!

I’ll be a little later tonight, due to my arrival into BNE being after 17:00 and forgetting to pack a GPS!!!

Had a wonderful time in MEL as always, used NGCI and loved it, and now spending too long in a QP… but as I have to drive I’ll have to behave.

Better start-up Google Maps and get some directions, then print them out and study on your flight up.

It isn't difficult, mind you. The traffic, on the other hand, is much more difficult to predict.

Don't forget to take a picture of the soup.:cool:

Also Melbourne airport is good for other pictures as well.

Take a look at this link, pity it was taken in June 2003.

I’m feeling a bit lazy right now, but I thought the soup pic was meant to be from a packet? AFAIK they just have a large bowl of it!

Can I print from the iMac’s? I might have to go find one and work a route out!

You need two pictures for that item: one is the soup in the lounge (with a label so we know what flavour it is) and another is a packet or can of soup (e.g. from a supermarket, your cupboard, etc.). But both flavours need to be exactly the same. (So if one is corn soup and the other is corn and chicken soup, no go.)
