Ok its been 20 years since I did Engrish at skool can someone give me an idea when you are meant to use the s and the 's and the s' :p

There is a great little cartoon around, with a mean looking sunflower... but I can't find it right now.

Cold? I think not, although I did just see someone in the Queen Street Mall in a jumper
That could have been me. :p Brisbane has been a little cold this week. :-|

Would like to come, but (aside from being very new and shy) do have an appointment at 6.30..... but if I can swing by on the way home - will you all be sitting under a sign?? :)
We will be sitting at the long tables at the front....

Thanks once again for a good drinks night and discussions reminiscent of the Qantas FF forum, the Credit Card forum, the Off-Topic Forum and just about every other forum here :)

Good to catch up with the Brisbane regulars once again. Always a pleasure and the discussions do not stay on-topic very long.

In attendance

Mal
Anat0l
JohnK
Bundy Bear

I hope you didn't get too wet on your way home Mal.

Next Brisbane Drinks night has been scheduled for 25 March 2009....

Thanks to everyone that attended - it was great to catch up again.

I didn't know that we had topics... :) After all, it isn't like we had a meeting with an agenda. (Imagine that - we'd never finish the meeting!)

I believe the agenda goes something like this:

Welcome
Apologies
Acceptance of minutes from the last meeting
Agenda item 1: beer
General Business
Close of meeting.

I misread that as "Agenda item: 1 beer" (and thought what's the point)

OK, we did not have an agenda but our discussion did involve certain topics and these discussions did not stay on-topic for very long. :p;)
