Hi all,

I've booked a double room for myself at an IHG Intercontinental and I have breakfast included in the rate. Do you know if it's possible to have a friend who's not a guest at the hotel join for the buffet breakfast? I ask because the actual rate of the room with breakfast is independent of the number of guests i.e. it would have been the same price whether there was one or two staying. TIA.

Yes, just book for 2 guests so they are expected 2 people at breakfast.

Ah, sorry if I've been a bit unclear - I'm already staying in the hotel and the room is booked for one. Still OK to bring a guest or should I make up a story that my 'partner' is joining me for my last night's stay in the property?

Will remember to book for two in future though! 😁
