Virgin Atlantic will add South Africa to its round the world airfares at the end of the year when V Australia launches services into Johannesburg, Sir Richard Branson revealed this morning.
Speaking to Travel Today on the roof of The Four Seasons hotel in Sydney, Branson said
a ‘Virgin Global South’ RTW option will follow today’s launch of ‘Virgin Global East’
and ‘Virgin Global West’."Virgin Global South will go round the world via Johannesburg and will be launched at the end of the year," the Virgin Atlantic chairman said..

Branson, in Sydney for Friday’s launch of V Australia, added that passengers were “fed-up” with Qantas monopolising the Pacific route
and “literally taking them for a ride”.
I would be more fed-up with QF if I paid my fare and then they didn't literally take me for a ride.
