After several months I have decided to return to AFF.

This is a forum I had enjoyed immensely over the years and I did not want to end my participation.

I would like to thank each and every person who contacted me both publicly and privately to give their support and advice about my "issues". Your kind words mean so much to me and I truthfully appreciate every one of you and you taking the time to make the effort.

In the time I have been away I have had to change my mobile number, my office number and the contact details of my personal assistant. I still find the fact I had to do that very disappointing indeed.

Also in the time I have been away, I have traveled a lot. I have discovered my love for a few restaurants in AKL so most Sundays I head across the Tasman for lunch.

I never did take that trip to LHR in Y. Instead I bought my son a new car so I consider that bet "Paid in Full". I will also NEVER enter into such a bet for the rest of my life!!

I have sold my business and now do something different. I am actually liking the change.

I know the persons responsible for my decision to leave the forum will NEVER contact me again..... OR do such a thing to anyone else. A great legal team has assured that.

If any of the members I know wish to PM me than I will provide my new contact details. I look forward to catching up again soon.

Sadly I will NEVER guest anyone I do not know personally into a lounge ever again. That really cheeses me off as I used to enjoy meeting up with fellow AFFers in such a way.

Once again. Thank you to all who have contacted me over the past months to give your support.

So sad to hear about the crazy lengths that you had to go to regarding the previous situation and the actions of others but cheers to you rejoining and many happier stories to come!

Gotta agree with all the others. A bit like when you get burgled( but far worse) the lengths you need to go to to get back t your normal life is ridiculous. Rest assured that most of us aren't like that, and like Sam said, I'll guest you instead!

Even though you didn't actually pay up on the bet, I'm sure it was as good a consolation - even though if it was my old man, I'd rather see him do the trip; but then again, that's just me!
