Hi all

I'm booking two return tickets to london on Singapore air. As I went through the checkout process it said "For Australian AMEX card users, on occasion double-billing has occurred for multiple ticket purchases. To avoid this, we recommend that you purchase only one ticket per transaction."

I'm using my gold amex to book this.

Has anyone booked multiple tickets using amex on singapore air without any issues?

I would rather have both tickets on the one booking. Rather than book them separately.

Also, if I do have to book these separately, will my partner have any issues with his ticket, given it was paid for by my credit card in a separate booking? We will be travelling together on all legs.

Thanks :)

I have never experienced any trouble when booking mutiple tickets.

It is only a warning - it doesn't actually say it WILL happen.

Go ahead and book it - SQ will quickly reverse the transaction if it did go pear shaped - I just would not hesitate.

A lot of carriers actualy have this problem. It is not a real double billing but a guarantee they take on the card as well as the charge. I even had this on QF and after about 3 weeks the guarantee disappeard from the cc.
