Hey everyone.
Just trying to clarify something. I'm travelling to Bangkok in July, an staying at the Millennium Hilton, and wanting to book two rooms for three nights, for 4 guests.
As I am a HH Diamond, do both rooms get the benefits, such as room/suite upgrades, executive lounge access? Or is it just the room that the Diamond member is staying in?
The payment will be made on my card, and both rooms under my name. Quite confused on this situation, as obviously, suite upgrades for both rooms would be ideal, but at least, executive lounge access for both rooms?
Just wondering peoples thoughts on this situation....
Also, as a friend will be meeting us for one of the days we are in Bangkok, do you think they will be flexible with allowing an extra guest in the lounge complimentary? Or will they enforce the fee?

Also wondering people's experiences with the Millennium Hilton!

Thanks!

Robbie

By the book, the rules are that the diamond member's room gets the upgrade but tho other one would gain points for your account. But not on the spend on the room...

So- book 2 rooms via one account, have only a single room account and bill everything to that room. Call that room your room and you will get full points and at least benefits for one room. If you want to guarantee the exec lounge for all, book one exec room and email the hotel with your plans, asking them to upgrade the base room at least. Or email them in advance and see what they can do for you.

I booked two rooms in my name at the Millenium Bangkok earlier this year. When we arrived they advised that only my room was eligible for executive lounge access. They did offer to let us pay for one additional person but was a relatively large amount for my mum given that she doesn't drink and breakfast was included in our room rate. They did eventually give her access for free once we explained the situation....but the decision did need to be made by a manager.
