Booking Southwest from Oz

Trying to book a Southwest Airlines flight from LAX to DEN and all goes well until I get to actually paying.
The credit card part fills out fine and then it asks for the billing address which needs to match my credit card.
The drop down menu for the country of the card is restricted to three countries - USA, Canada and Mexico.
For the life of me I cannot find any other option for any other country, let alone Australia.
I have searched this forum and have Googled the hell out of it and have even emailed Southwest to no avail.
What the?

It looks like this is only a problem when trying to book a hotel room with the flights as well.
Booking just a flight works fine.
Pity as the hotel prices were cheap.

I had similar troubles booking a flight (and just a flight) from LAS to SFO, wouldn’t book from the desktop website but worked OK from the mobile website.

I ended up using the app as well.
