Have I got a senior moment!

I was surprised to see that the latest QF domestic booking either cash or points was 27th March 2027. I’m sure I’ve been able to book at 353 days which should mean that available fares are from 8 April 2026. Has this changed?

Yes, I posted a question in the Newbie thread. We’ve been waiting to book some CR seats, but now nothing (QFd or QFi cash or points) post 27 Mar 2027 and the booking window is now out to 03 Apr 2027….and counting…

Commercial teams been a bit distracted in the last 6 weeks so no surprises.
But another group of bean counters will be getting anxious with nothing to sell on the “shelf” for ~8 days next year (across the entire network).

Not that they sell massive amounts a year out but that cash in the bank nice to have.

…… and at 6am AEST, still maximum booking window locked to 27th Mar…… what are Qantas doing (protecting their future pricing model)?
After 10am (midnight GMT) and search window opened to 4 April 2027. Nada, zip, zilch.

Agree…nothing. I always book asap for domestic flights as I no longer fly overseas so spending all my QF points on local flights in J. I’ve never seen this situation before and I book 8/10 flights a year.

It happens every year - when schedules are adjusted but this one does seem to be taking longer. Not that I track it!

At least for those looking for CRs, there’ll probably be a dump the moment the new schedule is loaded. So maybe more to choose from rather than racing anyone else looking for the few seats 353 days out.
