Booking China Eastern (MU) directly with the airline

ITA is pulling up a fare on China Eastern MEL-xPVG-HKG-PVG-MEL for AUD1009 all up.

(There is a 'free' stopover in PVG)

The fare basis is QLEE6MAT.

Does anyone have any experience of booking these fares. ITA suggests contacting the Airline directy on a USA 'phone number (or using an Agent).

Preference is to book via the airline directly.

China Eastern have an office in Melbourne. I have been there once when I needed to get my tickets re-issued and re-printed due to a change in MU flight schedules. I don't remember if they also did bookings, but you could call to find out.

The other option would be to contact a TA and tell them the fare basis you want to use.
