Want to book a 1 way flight from Brussels via Abu Dhabi to Sydney travelling on a VA flight number in a flexi fare so that I can then upgrade with points (being VA Plat VFF)
As the one way journey from Brussels cant be booked on VA website I rang VFF to see if I can book it over the phone, unfortunately and they advised I cannot book a 1 way flight from Brussels back to Sydney online or over the phone.
Was told by VFF the only way I can get an upgrade with points is if the flight is VA ticketed (and if there is an award seat available), so I've been looking online trying to find a VA coded flight 1 way home that I can booking online. I realise VA don't fly out of Brussels and that would probably be an Etihad flight, but looking for a VA coded flight ABU - SYD and also want to have 1 PNR booking so that my luggage goes all the way through to Syd.
Being a VFF Platnium I would prefer to fly with a VA or with a VA code share partner to obtain SC and points.
I've looked at Webjet website for 1 way flights back to sydney, but they only have Etihad coded flights for sale (even though the ABU - SYD is EY coded but operated by VA)
Anybody know of any websites that have VA coded flights I can purchase ?
I already have a 1 way ticket over to Brussels with VA and have successfully upgraded to business for the SYD-ABU leg, just trying to find a way to do it for the 1 way home.
