Hi,

I'm booked on Emirates EK180 from Warsaw to Dubai this afternoon/tonight (27-June-2013), and subsequently EK414 DXB-SYD.
I've booked an Economy Class ticket. I've just checked Plane Finder on my phone, and it shows the incoming plane from DXB to WAW (EK179) is an Airbus A330 A6-EAM, which is the 3-class A330 config.
Online checkin is somehow allowing me to pick seats in the rows 6-11 range (although rows 6 to 7 appears to be blocked out). See screenshot.

I've checked seatguru as well as Emirates Airbus A330-200 Three Class Seat Map, and they both seem to confirm rows 6-11 are business (reclining).
The question is - why is it letting me pick these seats, and I suppose there is no harm in trying, but if I pick them, am I likely to get bumped to the back of the bus ? :)
For the second flight EK414, only the main deck economy seats are available.

Cheers,
LP

This is one of those questions that deserves a 'what the hell do you think?!' answer....

Back in OZ.
I had a business class seat, but it was Economy Class service, including meals. The business cabin was mostly empty (myself plus 5 others), so I don't think J is offered on this route (or this particular day). . Very enjoyable, and it was the same style cabin as the ex-Emirates birds that VA currently flies out west.
