You can use the VA lounges before International flights if you don’t mind going between terminals. Not worth the hassle for many but in places like ADL it’s fine

Especially considering you could get 5000 points for spending $240 in a Coles 10K 4 week challenge.

4000 points valued around $70. They could do better (although I guess it's more than that person got offered on the oversold flight!)
