I just got a very interesting email offering bonus skyward miles if I earnt more tire miles between now and my renewal date of Gold.
Given I am sitting at 91,956 tier miles for the renewal period already - and will be sitting at 104,886 tier miles at the renewal date with current bookings I had before the offer - I find it interesting and lacking in any benefit of doing anything more than what I am already doing.
And while it is tempting to push to get to 150k for platinum again, I think I am best to sit on my hands for now.... but hey, $2,800 is all it will take to get that - and will probably save that the next year in only doing saver fares as I will simply always fall (Soft Landing) back to Gold if I don't get the 50k for Gold.
