BOM lounge opening hours

Hi all

I have some flights coming up to India and I thought I might tray and be a little clever. We have been quoted around $8900 for all of our flights - syd-bom-maa-blr-sin-syd. Given I want to get to HKG for a few days I have agreed with my other boss to add in a trip to HKG.

I have worked out if I book the following I can manage it as a reasonable marginal additional cost (though I will have to burn some HHonors points to keep cost down).

Ticket 1: DAS13 syd-hkg-nrt-syd (or similar)
Ticket 2: hkg-bom-hkg (probably via BKK)
Ticket 3: bom-maa-blr-bom

I am not able to leave 24 hours between hkg-bom and blr-bom as we have a full on week in India.

One question though is the lounge access in BOM. I have a flight planned BLR-BOM on Air India which leaves BLR at 01:00 and arrives in BOM at 02:30 :shock: with a departure to HKG at 05:20. Is there a lounge I will be able to use between 02:30 and 05:30?

I am really not looking forward to that day as I will leave BLR at 01:00 and get to HKG at 20:00

I will be flying in J most likely with just hand luggage.

There is a Maharajah Lounge at BOM.

Just checked and the oneworld site list a BA Terraces F lounge that is open 4 hours before the flight. Seeing as there is a 2:15AM flight from BOM I wont be in luck using that unless I get an earlier flight to BOM and spend an hour in there before being kicked out

I think the BA lounge was closed for renovation -It may have reopened.
