Boeing rolls out first 787 from South Carolina for Air India

Things are looking promising as the new production line completes its first aircraft and more orders are received putting the 787 back into positive territory for the year with 8 787s for VN, clearing the China Eastern order cancellation deficit:



US aerospace giant Boeing on Friday rolled out the first 787 Dreamliner built at its new plant in South Carolina and destined for Air India.

The rollout marked the first time the Chicago-based Boeing has produced a twin-aisle commercial airplane outside of Puget Sound, near Seattle in Washington state.
