Boeing job losses in Australia

Just a quick report on 10 news a few mins ago. Boeing are losing jobs at a victorian factory.

Terrible news for 350 people.

One strange thing the cuts were allegedly due to F/A18 and Airbus manufacturing changes - I didn't think Boeing built things for Airbus?
 
I unerstand that the parts being made in Melbourne will now be made in Sydney. The 787 parts will remain in Melbourne.

I think Boeing and Airbus make someparts for each other
