Boeing 787 BUG

Have read the article and it would seem to me to be an extremely slim chance of such a failure. Good to see how serious the world of aviation takes these things.

As a sideline nice to see a 787 in QF Livery.

Just working back on this bug, I suspect the answer is 248 days, 13 hours, 13 minutes and 56 seconds, assuming that I've got my calculations right based on a guess of what the problem might be (the math fits).
If that is the case, changing what is called an Int32 to an Int64 means that this problem won't rear it's head for another 5,849,424,173 years.

Just saw the following in one of my software developers newsletters.

The tweet in the middle shows that my thinking on what the problem is is likely to be true
