Hi

Having seen some of the trip reports on AFF, my wife and I would like to visit Iceland in September. Dates are flexible (about 18 days all up) but leaving Iceland after 17 Sept would allow us to catch the northern lights.

I want to use AAd points and book prior to 22 March to avoid devaluation. I think it is 60k points one way J or 80k one way F (although from what I can see on AA, only the SIN/HKG-LHR leg offers F).

I have had a look at the AA site and it offers QF/BA but the QF leg from BNE/SYD or MEL to either SIN or HKG always shows economy. I have had a look at JMB and can't see any Cathay availability to HKG, not that I am 100% sure I am driving JMB properly.

I'm wondering if anyone can propose a suitable award itinerary in J/F. We are flexible with the itinerary and airline as well within reason. The only proviso on a straight return booking is that I would like a few days in England on the return to catch up with family. The points are available from each of our AAd accounts.

cheers
