I am planning to fly BNE – CHC and the routing is via SYD.The booking is coming up as BNE-SYD on QF8 departing 0630 arriving 0810 then SYD-CHC on QF8766 departing 0915. (Travelling on QF flight numbers but EK metal.)
My question to the AFF experts is:
On checking in at BNE international (for a domestic leg), am I checked all the way through to CHC and do a transfer only at SYD or am I checked to SYD as a domestic and then need to clear immigration as a D pax andthen check-in again for the international sector. If it is the 1[SUP]st[/SUP] scenariothen the 1hr & 5mins would be enough time but if the 2[SUP]nd[/SUP] scenario then there would not be time in my past experience with this flight. Also, where would checked luggage end up.
