Have two of the complimentary passes to use on an upcoming trip to Perth with the boss and wondering what the opinions are about which lounge we should use them in? If it makes a difference the BNE departure is around 8pm while the return flight from PER is the red eye.

If you drink you'll get more value out of the BNE lounge since the bar in PER won't be open that early.

Oh wait, red-eye means leaving late, arriving early doesn't it :)

Carry on then!

If you like a beer, Perth Qantas Pub has Little Creatures Pale Ale on tap.

Don't forget that the boss will have to line up with you after 8pm to get 1 drink each!! No getting 2 drinks in Perth!!

I'd base the decision on where you are likely to spend more time. But all else being equal, I'd go Perth. You'll get decent food in the lounge before the overnight flight, plus (I believe) BNE has more options for comfortable seating and open eating establishments at the time you are travelling.
