Hi

Does anyone know if Singapore Airlines has the concept, if you have a flexi ticket (booked through VA in my case) of bidding for upgrades?

Given I am a Velocity member I don't have any way to use points, so want to see if there is some other way using a cash bid.

I know some airlines do but I can't find anything on their site.

Thanks
Ryan

Yes SQ have the concept. You bid what it will cost to pay the difference between your Y fare and a full business class fare and they'll accept that bid. :)

I did read recently that SQ had been offering last minute paid upgrades to certain passengers, so they may be trialing this kind of system. It's pretty out there behaviour for SQ, who are renowned for their protective stance towards their J experience.
