What difference does it make that it was an "African American" officer Renato? An officer is an officer regardless of their cultural background. I can accept that she may have been authoritarian and that your wife felt upset but personally I don't think a comment on her background adds to the discussion or is necessary.
What does the ethnicity of the officer have to do with anything? Why mention it?
Well my politically correct acquaintances - I am not politically correct as you are, and have no desire to avoid stating the facts of the matter, as you would have me do.
I note that for some strange reason you apply a double standard in your poltical correctness, and have not criticized my stating that the officer in question was a female.
It was an African American woman with attitude who did the groping search. Very gruff - no "Please" in any of her imperative commands to my wife, in sharp contrast to the polite "Please"s we got from other African American and non African American officers to do some other things in that airport and in other American airports (eg. please go this way, please go to that queue, please take off your belt etc). My wife was very upset by that treatment.
Regards,
Renato
