Markis10 you would make my 19 year old into a Frequent Flyer Fiend if I showed him your posts on Status Credit runs. He missed the QC life as he was too young. He may have a life of doing runs once he has been east for some sporting event as a starter.

Cost calculations come are hard as it can vary day by day, 270SCs is hard going but suggest probably -TSV-DRW will be best if you can get flights and hit it in one day, needs an overnight at both ends though:

Thank you Markis so much for you help, but I took too long getting it booked and now the cheap points flight is only available there, not on the way back :( Damn it!

Do you know where I can find a SC calculator to work out if a run to NZ or Fiji etc or maybe the Hobart run would work for me?

Thanks, Sue :)

I just booked that (without spending $) but I was wondering how it looks to get off in DRW and then half an hour later get straight back on! Would be the same flight crew I guess. I was thinking of changing clothes and wearing a hat and glasses to save embarrassment. Hang on, that might be even more embarrassing...

It is I did this exact run as was offered double status by Q couple months ago, crew asked me on re boarding "how come your going back?" i replied didn't like Darwin!. FA said "you didn't have time!", later FA's came up and asked me what the go was. Had empty J seat next to me all the way too. Was a long day up at 4am got to bed back in TSV at 10pm.

Damn I wish I had thought to check the sydney options as now I have to book the positioning flights which will be almost double the cost of the actual SC run plus I've got the hotel as well...

Didn't think about the same crew either, I'll just tell them I like flying lol

Will be looking forward to a warm weekend ha ha
