Also worth noting, you have to book before the expiry date, not travel.

just tagging along, i have about 450k krisflyer miles due to expire in october this year, i assume this means the start of October, so i need to redeem before end of September.

If i book flights for the latest possible dates which would be around August 2027, can i still change flight dates later on for an even further date?

You need to read the rules carefully there are hard expiry dates

If memory serves, expiry is the end of the month shown online and on the reminder emails each month - sign in to your account https://www.singaporeair.com/krisflyer/miles/expiring-miles/ and it should be pretty clear.

I nearly got caught out with the ticket change thing - you can update the destination and dates, but not the origin city.
