Best time to purchase QF J fares to LAX.

Consider going JAL via Tokyo, then dct NY. I just did it to Chicago - was $3500 cheaper than QF in J, and you skip LAX customs.

I'm going to go look at it now, I like the idea of being able to skip customs at LAX. 3 hours in line last time the wife and I did that trip.

another option look at the premium sale ex USA now. (on the QF site change ot to USA) Buy US/AUS return now and then the AUS/
US return back. I think something like $2.7k for W class. Excellent value, upgrade points are half that on other discount Y fares.

Get over there on a JASA or Classic Award.

not sure how many trips you want to make but USA is a good staging point for Eur or the Caribeean

Nice to see some QF sale fares coming through. Just a shame that it's not for the dates that I want!

The F fare to lax for 10k would be amasing! I've even convinced SHMBO that is a bargin..lol.

For a guy who used to travel Y everywhere I've come a long way, thanks to this forum.

How much are the J fares to LAX if on sale?

J fares in the sale to LAX were around 6K

upto 17th December then after 1 February till 31 Augsut sale ends on the 7th November be quick

Hey guys, Just wanted to let everyone know that my wife and I ended up purchasing J fares to New York today!

Fly out 24th August 2013 to LAX, Two days there then onto New York. Second time for us both to the states but first time in J long haul. We are both very excited!

If anyone has any tips as to how we may enjoy it more please feel free to comment.

Can I ask where your seeing the F fare to LAX?

If that is the case I would like to book next years travel now, it's better than the J flights I normally get this year (LAX is the a layover either going to Vegas or Orlando where I am now)
