Best Star Alliance Lounge LHR Terminal 2?

Hi All,

Flying out of LHR terminal 2 on SQ317 in J in a few days. Lounge options are Air Canada, United & Singapore Airlines. Much of a muchness or does anyone here rate one sufficiently more than the other? Grateful for your thoughts!

AC has barista coffee and fresh waffles.
SQ is fairly large but utterly uninspiring.
LH is a bit far away from the SQ gates and nothing really to recommend it. Senator lounge is usually a bit quieter.

My pick is UA, spacious, nice bar area.
Maybe stop by AC for coffee first.

AC is pretty and calm but I agree that UA is the pick of the bunch

@andye and @Princess Fiona thanks for the recommendation - UA a great choice to spend an hour in prior to my departure. Great breakfast, spacious and wonderful apron views of the miserable British climate I am escaping!
