Best Seating QF 747-400 SYD-DFW Y Fare?

Hi All,

My sister's flying SYD-DFW on June 1 (no QF status) in Y and was wondering what the best seats would be that she could get (she's prepared to pay the extra $20 to choose). The plane's a 747-400 but other than that I don't have any other info at the moment.

Not really anything that good for people with no status.. Maybe the1 of the 2 seats down the back of the plane? No middle seat, just an asile or window.

From memory, l think that the cost of a exit seat is $160?

Look up her booking on www.qantas.com/yourbooking and choose [Select Seats].

The screen will show those seats Qantas are choosing to make available to her.

You can look without paying. To confirm the seat CC details will be needed.

With no status it will cost $20 to select one (and $160 for an exit seat).

I noticed a couple of days before a recent SYD-DFW flight that premium economy seats (used for economy) opened up for selection.

I would shoot for those if you can, even trying at check-in at the airport.

Wow!! $160 for an exit row on QF??

Thankfully my next BA flight only cost me $80 for my partner's exit row seat; luckily my SG status still holds some weight (unfortunately baggage not included :mrgreen and I got mine gratis.
