71D too. Had that SYD-LAX last week - fantastic seat (though you'll make everyone around you very jealous...).

Hi Febs - If sitting in 71K, do you have to move your feet everytime the crew want access to their rest area?

I didn't realise it was an escape hatch. I had visualised some sort of stairway when the hatch was open. I'm yet to fly on a QF 388 (only EK).
