I am not sure there is anywhere very good any more.

If you got the all the banks, Australia Post and Travelex they ALL now use a variation of the Travelex site. Some rates are slightly better or worse but there is not much in it at all.

Depending on the currency but they were all very similar.
We needed about 10 currencies and which was best varied between the outlet and the currency.

Usually if I really really need some then travellex online about a day or 2 day before you leave with collection at the airport.

Get the foreign currency from an ATM when you get to the overseas destination. You cant beat that rate if you use the right bank product.

I second United Currency Exchange in Melbourne. Best rates and consistently higher than when you withdraw from an ATM overseas.

Any suggestions for Sydney ?
AUD to USD (they love their cash over there )
Just wondering if any suggestions as I usually use travelx
I did read from the beginning and many sighs on the AUD to USD parity posts

Get one of the fx fee free debit cards and use an ATM over there?
That's the single best option.
