I have a question in regards to an up coming trip
I need 141,000 qff points for the following trip mel-dxb-dxb-cmn-cmn-dxb-mel around april -may, at this stage I am 5000 points short. So my question should I top up my points from qf
Also if some one could tell me the taxes for this flight
Other options are Ey $1800 and transfer points to vf
Regards

If the 141,000 is for a round-trip, you could break it into two one ways, and add the taxes and fees together.

If the 141,000 is one way, you can do a dummy booking on someone like expedia and get the fees and charges from that (they do a breakdown of fare+fees)

Frequent Flyer Rule No1 - never use your points to redeem an economy seat.

Yes I did try this but as I was booking a multi city the points go up to 156,000 when I separate the flights

just do a one way, MEL-DXB-CMN, get the taxes, and double those. That should give you a rough estimation for a round-trip taxes fees and charges.
