HI,

I need to fly from Adelaide to Buenos Aires where I am boarding a cruise that ends in Miami. I want to transit throught the USA, at least on the inbound or outbound.

Since I am a Premier Exec in UA, I want to book in B class & use my miles to upgrade to J class.

I see that UA does have a flight from IAD to Buenos Aires. However, they want $1700 for a one way fare in B from IAD! However, I can get a UA airpass with 3 coupons for $429; problem is its in V class & UA wont upgrade V class!!!

Does anyone have any suggestions for this travel which gets me J class & credit in UA's program?

Thanks,

John

Doesnt UA have a fare ex-Australia to EZE? I know they do ex-NZ. But maybe your issue is needing a one-way fare. UA, unlike QF NZ etc, don't have cheap one-way fares.
