I forget which of those rows of two seats has the boxes under the seat (if they in fact do have the box), but rows 70 -72 are good for couples. However, I might suggest you try and change to the two seats in row 70 as 72/73 the last two rows are close the washrooms where pax sometimes congregate/talk. Some say there is more turbulance at the rear of the plane, but I have had these seats on two occasions on long haul and haven't noticed too much difference.

as previously said, there are entertainment boxes under a number of the rear seats (to the exact one im not sure)

I recently had a seating in the duel 70's on a flight back from LAX. Being 6'4, and used to either J or exit row seating, this was a very uncomfortable seat. Not only did i have an entertainment box under the seat in front, but also constant movement of pax going to the lavatories!

Also, even though these are good seats for couples traveling, if by chance you get a bit of a bumpy flight, you will get the worst of it ( being at the back of the plane is always where you will feel the worst of the turbulence)

I've just done this trip in reverse (QF1 then QF9 back). If it's a 4 class being used as a 3 class you might be lucky enough as SG to get something in row 34-39 which is the Y+ seats. If not I had 40D on QF1 and it was good. It's the first row in Y with the Y+ bulkhead in front. There's a cutout in the bulkhead though so there's plenty of legroom and the toilets are right behind you and crew rest are the 40HJK so it's pretty quiet. I didn't have anyone milling around (they seemed to wait a couple of rows back) and you get served first.

I second this. Had 40C (I think) on a recent HKG-SYD and it was much better than expected - decent amount of legroom and I got about 6 hours of sleep, a first for me in ecomony. Having said that I think they gave it to me as a WP perk... YMMV.
