Best Economy Seat Qantas A330-300 Economy

Anyone done row 77 on the Qantas A380?

- Would smell better than being near the loos!

I presume you're referring to the refurbished A380's (Configuration 2 on the seat map sites), since the single unrefurbished example should not be operating on the London route.

I note that Seatguru and the Qantas seat map disagree on whether the space behind seats 77ABC and HJK are occupied by galleys or loos, however I am more likely to believe Seatguru as the Qantas seat map shows only 4 lavatories for the whole economy section (341 seats), which seems unreasonably low. Seatguru shows 8 loos for economy overall. I apologise that I don't recall enough detail from my last A380 flight to be certain on this, hopefully someone can clarify.

Yes, presumably for a refurbished bird - only have one economy deck to choose from.

From the in-app seat map, it has a galley icon for the two rows behind row 77 before going to row 78. And there's another galley icon row in/before row 48.

The in-app map also has space for approximately 7 loos as well (a bit hard to interpret the spaces involved - could be a few more even).

Has anyone done 23A on the A330-200?
Flying QF67 and looking for a window option with good leg room.

The legroom is usually a bit tight given the bulkhead, unless short you wont be able to fully stretch out. I still choose that seat though as I prefer not having anyone in front of me.
Agree. For overall space and comfort, the bulkhead is good. If you absolutely need to stretch your legs, another seat is better, but you have someone reclining in to you and lose knee room.

Good if travelling with someone also. Not as good if you have a shadow and you can take over the seat next you as well (the bulkhead armrest are immovable).

Just noticed that the original assigned plane (A380) has been changed to A330 for HK - SYD (QF128) .. been bumped from 55 to 24 as I'd requested for bassinet would take some photos.. but seatguru seems to mention reduce leg room .. i thought it would be more considering it has bassinet

seatguru usually gives unfavourable reviews to all bulkhead seats, and all ‘last-row’ seats! claiming reduced legroom and limited recline respectively.

seatguru is not always accurate.

There is reduced legroom at the bulkheads in that you can’t fully stretch your legs. But there is more space overall.

They’ll also markdown because of the immovable armrest and slightly narrower seat. I’ve never found that a problem on QF (and old VA) A330s.

Just a data point, a333 23A.

For leg room its a bit tight at 180cm, you get more space but can't stretch out. The other side seems to have a tad more space as does the center 4 seats. Definitely not worthwhile if you have a shadow.

I had a good look at row 45 on my way to the loo as well and 45A/K seems quite a bit cramped if you don't have the seat next to you offer some of their space.

Will need to reevaluate if I want to stick to 45A for next month's travel.

yes, 45AB and the corresponding seats on the other side are fine if travelling as a couple. Solo the slide bustle can get in the way.

Most legroom in Y on a A330-200, please? It'd be the BNE-SIN (QF51/52) and back run, for a 190+ cm person. No status (an NB) so would lack access to the preferred seats.

My guess would be 44B and J. At least on the A333 the 2nd exit row aisles have unlimited legroom. The window seats (A and K) are very cramped though.
