Best Australian debit card for overseas cash withdrawals?

Is Citi Plus still the best option for overseas cash? Obviously I haven't done a lot of international travel since 2019.

If I have to open some other account it might be time to get started, since we depart in five weeks.

(I'm set for FX-fee-free purchases, with a US Amex Gold backed with a Coles Rewards Mastercard and a Bundll account which charges to my Dragon Visa.)

This is all much of a muchness really, when it comes to fee free debit cards. What are we talking about, a few cents here or there.

I have UB, MacQ, ING, BankW, Wise (AU and UK) and Santander (UK), but at the end of the day you use whichever card suits you at the time.

Bankwest debit MC. Has worked as advertised in a couple of countries so far this year.

Can monitor it in the same app as my BW Zero MC credit card (which replaced the BW Plat MC credit card before the annual fee was due - which in turn had replaced the 28Deg card)

Mac Bank transaction a/c. It even earns interest.

Eh, they stopped paying interest about 6 months ago. Interest paid only on the savings account .

28° MC is still going strong in this household. Everything we can goes on that when we’re OS! Obviously not particularly relevant for getting cash!

Some have a few hoops and jumps to get the card provider OS ATM fee waived, but there’s really no excuse for the regular traveller to get one or more free debit cards that provide international fee free purchases AND ATM cash withdrawals (puts aside any local ATM access fees).
