Bank of Melbourne - Priority Pass Membership

Hi All,

Looking for some advice. I've recently taken up a Bank of Melbourne Amplify card (Amplify Signature rewards credit card) which is supposed to come with 2 complimentary lounge visits when you enrol.

So I enrolled with Priority Pass via the provided link and it seemed to pickup my credit card number and I now have a membership number with membership until 2025 although it doesn't state what sort of membership.

It also doesn't state anywhere that I can see that have two complimentary lounge visits either. I've never been a Priority Pass user so I'm not really sure how the system works. What does this access actually give me? Do I need to use the complimentary passes for access and then pay the $32 USD each time I access a lounge?

You should get a letter in the mail sometime soon with a card and letter explaining the benefits.

It sounds like you have a ‘limited’ PP membership, which (a) ‘opens the door’ to lounges around the world, but (b) you have to pay USD32 per visit. The exception is that you get two free passes, so 2 x $32 fees are waived.

There are other versions of PP, some come with no free pin get visits, so you always pay $32. Others come with unlimited access, so you never pay the $32. The charges for membership vary based on how many free visits you get.

You get two free entry’s with the BOM card. Log in to your priority pass account via the app and it’ll show you two remaining visits.

Thanks, I’ve got myself logged in with the App and it gives me my card electronically in there…just can’t find any mentioned of the two free passes anywhere in the app or my priority pass account. Guess I’ll just try my luck and see what happens.

Hmm you’re right. I’m churning this card at the moment and just logged in to PP and the usual visit count isn’t there. Not sure if it’s an app change or something with this particular BOM product. I’ve had it in the past and it’s always been there

Regardless, it’s supposed to be 2 free visits. Maybe “update” the credit card details with PP………
