Bali to Brunei

I am trying to fly direct into Brunei from Bali. But have just realised no airline fly this route direct.
Anyone has any idea how I can get into Brunei in the shortest amount of time & the most economical? Also wouldn’t mind travelling into Brunei from Miri if this is cheapest option. Rang Qantas hoping to fly using FF points but no options to & from Brunei is available.

Air Asia through KL would be an option (would need to by 2 tickets though).

Try DPS to CGK with Garuda then CGK to BWN with Royal Brunei or even Qatar from DPS to KL then Air asia/Royal brunei/MH to BWN.

Try flying Jetstar from Bali to Singapore and then taking Air Asia from Singapore to Miri.

Not too sure about the connectivity/ transit time but that would be the cheapest option.

If you are adventurous you can fly Batavia Air from Bali-Pontianak-Kuching.
From Kuching you can fly MH to Mir. Alternatively, from Kuching you can fly MH to Pulau Labuan and then take the boat to Brunei (short trip).
