Hi,

I am new here and I read a lot about mixed class award booking and the connected problems (to many points used and so on..) but I found nothing about the baggage rules:

My itinerary is ASP-PER-SIN-FRA and I booked it with BA miles in J (100.000 points)

The leg ASP-PER is in Y because there is no J Class in the plane (717) but the leg PER-SIN is also in Y. SIN-FRA is in J (fortunately)

Which baggage rules apply ? J or Y for the trip ?

Welcome to AFF :D

The baggage rules for the "MSC" apply, in this case those for SIN-FRA.

You can search for MSC (Most Significant Carrier), but basically that segment "wins" as it is the first travel between "TC"'s (Tariff Conferences) - i.e. TC3 (Asia/Oceania) to TC2 (Europe/Africa).

Thx..so bad news for me. I have to pay another piece and I will not have lounge access in Perth.
