Hi all

Three questions a family member asked that are simple but I've never encountered before and thus wasn't 100% sure of the answer.

1. Under the revised Qantas baggage policies, will Qantas check a bag through to the final destination if it involves one QF revenue flight and one QF award flight (and therefore separate PNRs)?

2. On a CBR-MEL-SIN flight where CBR-MEL is in Y and MEL-SIN is in J, can the person access the J lounge in CBR?

3. Similarly, on the return leg SIN-MEL-CBR where SIN-MEL is in J and MEL-CBR is in Y, can the person access the J lounge in MEL?

Thanks for your help.

Definitely possible to check luggage through on separate Qantas bookings even if Qantas is not operating any flights on one of the bookings.

As far as I am aware Business class does not provide arrival lounge access. Only Platinum status and higher.
