[FONT=Verdana, Arial, Tahoma, Calibri, Geneva, sans-serif]Iam flying on Sunday from MEL>SIN on a QF codeshare withEmirates, then SIN>PVG on another QF codeshare with China Eastern.All booked through the qantas site. I am a gold frequent flyer withQantas. Booking is in economy.[/FONT]

[FONT=Verdana, Arial, Tahoma, Calibri, Geneva, sans-serif]Mybooking on the Qantas site is telling me I only have 30kg allowancefor checked luggage. [/FONT]

S[FONT=Verdana, Arial, Tahoma, Calibri, Geneva, sans-serif]omeQantas Frequent Flyer and Qantas Club members are entitled to anadditional non ticketed checked baggage allowance. This allowanceapplies to travel on:[/FONT]

  • [FONT=Verdana, Arial, Tahoma, Calibri, Geneva, sans-serif]Qantas and QantasLink operated flights with a "QF" flight number (excluding services to and from Lord Howe Island and Olympic Dam); and[/FONT]
  • [FONT=Verdana, Arial, Tahoma, Calibri, Geneva, sans-serif]Emirates operated flights between and within Europe, The Middle East, North Africa, Asia, New Zealand and Australia when booked with either a "QF" or "EK" flight number on your ticket.[/FONT]
[FONT=Verdana, Arial, Tahoma, Calibri, Geneva, sans-serif]Acall to Qantas and they claim the above clause isn’t valid on aflight MEL>SIN?[/FONT]

  • [FONT=Verdana, Arial, Tahoma, Calibri, Geneva, sans-serif]The china eastern website also states that I get 2 x 23kg pieces totalling 46kg.[/FONT]
    [FONT=Verdana, Arial, Tahoma, Calibri, Geneva, sans-serif]So where are they pulling this 30kg from? If I turn up with 46kg am I going to have to pay?[/FONT]
