Baggage Allowance - QF/AY itinerary

Hi all,

Booked an AA award BNE-FRA travelling to SIN on QF and then SIN-HEL-FRA on AY.

Can anyone confirm what the baggage allowance will be? I'm travelling J and am WP. Will it be the QF allowance, since they are the first section or will it be AY since I'm travelling further with them?

You should have no issue checking in your bags under the QF allowance all the way through to HEL, assuming you're not stopping-over in SIN.

It's the AY allowance as they are the MSC.

OZ-Asia on QF is within TC3 (between sub areas), Asia to Europe on AY is TC3 to TC2, so that's the allowance.

Note, bing oneworld Emerald, you should get the additional allowance for that on AY in any case.

AY doesnt really make a difference between OWR and OWE - its typically one extra bag. As you flying J, which is already 3 bags, you can take up to 4 x 23kg bags. Have fun carrying
They also give PB with some bright red tags from OWS on and as Europe has much less FF my bags usually came among the first ones.
