I have a ticket that allows me 2 checked bags which would be a total of 46 kilos (23kg per bag allowance). Is it OK for me to only have only 1 bag that is 34 kilos? Thanks

Generally airlines won't let you go outside of the regulations these days.

If your allowance is 2 Pieces of up to 23 kg each then that is your allowance, not, say, 1 piece at 30kg and 1 piece at 16kg.

FWIW, most airlines restrict the maximum weight of any 'piece' to 32kg.
