I have a couple of BA ViewTag electronic bag tags that were introduced in 2019
I was just looking at how to clear the data from a broken tag before I throw it out and it seems that the Company that makes the tag no longer exists (at least their website doesn't) and BA appears to have purged all mention of them from its website (and App which is where the data from your travel linked to the Tag)
The only info I can find online is from tech websites that date back to 2019
Before I throw out 2 of these £64 tags (yes, I know, I'm an idiot but it seemed like a good idea at the time
) does anyone have any current information about their status? There is presently an 'electronic clean up' available so I thoughtI'd ditch them whilst I could - unless they're still viable
