Eggland has a lot more people than Oz so may have a reasonable number of serious surfers compared to Oz :)

But they have nowhere to practice  . I guess there may be a few waves inbound from the North Sea at Redcar every now and then?

Maybe they will just have to tow their surfboards behind they canoes as they leave the UK?

I believe the world surfing championships have in fact been held in Newquay on the south coast.

There are surfing locations in the UK, but let's avoid facts getting in the way

The "apparant" lack of anywhere to surf in the UK and the god awful weather, then all the more reason for those "few" surfers to have to venture abroad to find the break they are after.

But BA will continue to revise their policies....it'll be bikes next, then golf clubs and finally skis.

This reminds me of the movie The Crack, where the lead character has said he is a surfer, and the potential love interest asks where he surfs, and he says, oh I haven't learnt to surf yet. or something like that. Now he was from Northern Ireland which is part of eggland isn't it?

I think you will find that it is part of the United Kingdom rather than England. Wars have been fought over lesser mistakes.

Very well picked up...that was a dangerous mistake to make!
