Quick Question: If I am flying BA (economy and WT+) can I use my paid Qantas Club Membership to access BA's lounges? (Heathrow, Zurich, Rome is where I'll be)? I'm still a lowly bronze QFF.

Also, is $195/yr the normal going rate for corporate QP memberships with big companies? And is this normally something big private companies let you salary sacrifice? (I work for an ASX top 10).

Thank you knowledgeable people!

When flying BA, you can indeed use the BA lounges with a QP membership. No probs there.

The $195 is not dissimilar to the rate I can get at my company, so I would suggest it is.

The cost is tax deductable; whether your company will salary sacrifice it or whether you'll have to claim it at the end of the year is something you'd have to take up with the appropriate ppl within the company. I do know companies that will alllow it to be sacrificed

The trick being, when is it a BA lounge and when is BA using another airline's lounge, where the access rights may not be the same.

Excellent! Thanks for the quick response. And it should all be BA lounges so swill be OK there. My company has just changed it's policy to allow QP (and other airline lounge) memberships to be salary sacrificed which is good (mainly cause i get the benefit back now).

In September last year, went through Zurich, going to Heathrow. I was, at the time, QC Bronze.

There was a little sign on the check-in desk to say that BA no longer ran their own lounge at Zurich. As it wasn't a BA lounge, no access for QC members. You may want to check with BA to avoid any "disappointment".

Heathrow T4 wasn't a problem, as expected, and was/is wonderful.
