BA Europe to SYD - <$1000AUD RT

Has been possible to get BA fare from Europe to SYD for <1k AUD return.. Dates seem quite wide open, but the other cities are expensive.
A380 LHR to SIN, 777 SIN-SYD. BA Metal. IB Codeshare may be available for better SC/Point earn.

The cheapest fares I've found are ex MAD (MAD-MEL-LHR) at $1070 AUD. Have you managed to find any originating cities cheaper than that?

I believe fares DUB - PER might be found for under $1000 (that was during May).
